People who put up Christmas trees and try to explain prophecy are on the same level as the monkey with the watch. No understanding.
For example, Have you ever realized that shepherds don’t watch over their flocks by night, DURING WINTER?
They’re home with their wives and the sheep are in the barn.
What gives? (see: Jeremiah 10 The customs of these people are worthless)
When was Yeshua born?
Colossians 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: 17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Messiah.
When Sha’ul talks of Holy days he’s referring to the Feasts of the LORD (Read Leviticus 23 – 24:9).
The Feasts are shadows… Yeshua was crucified on Pesach (Passover) and rose on First Fruits, so lets take a look at some other Feast days.
Deuteronomy 16:16 Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty:
He chose Jerusalem, that’s why there was no room at the inn(s).
Now during Succot (Tabernacles) it’s late summer, right before the later rains fall in Israel and the shepherds are out at that time.
Genesis 33:17 And Jacob journeyed to Succoth, and built him an house, and made booths for his cattle: therefore the name of the place is called Succoth.
Succot is Tabernacles…

Nehemiah 8
13 On the second day of the month, the heads of all the families, along with the priests and the Levites, gathered around Ezra the scribe to give attention to the words of the Law. 14 They found written in the Law, which the LORD had commanded through Moses, that the Israelites were to live in booths during the feast of the seventh month 15 and that they should proclaim this word and spread it throughout their towns and in Jerusalem: "Go out into the hill country and bring back branches from olive and wild olive trees, and from myrtles, palms and shade trees, to make booths"-as it is written.
16 So the people went out and brought back branches and built themselves booths on their own roofs, in their courtyards, in the courts of the house of God and in the square by the Water Gate and the one by the Gate of Ephraim. 17 The whole company that had returned from exile built booths and lived in them. From the days of Joshua son of Nun until that day, the Israelites had not celebrated it like this. And their joy was very great.
Great joy is a theme for Succot (Succot means booths).
So we have a crowded Jerusalem (no room at the inn), shepherds out in the fields and great joy all during Succot. And just back up the Hebrew calendar 9 months and you’ll arrive at Chanukah! The people who sat in darkness saw a great light And the phrase Time, times and half a time refers to Feast cycles (3 and a half).
Conception during Chanukah and birth during Tabernacles. Now that wasn’t hard at all, so what can be said about pastors and teachers that plug in Christmas trees? I can only surmise that they learned how to collect a paycheck, they sure didn’t learn anything else.
