Saw a video clip today of ( I think ) Rep House member addressing the House holding up his ink stained finger.

"Oh, wouldn't that be fabulous?"

Wouldn't it ! LOL The blue ink-stained finger of freedom.

-snip-"Less than two years ago, the United States and her allies launched an assault on the nation of Iraq to enforce United Nations resolutions. Despite the absence of nuclear or biological weapons stockpiles, our investigators have documented dozens of violations of those U.N. resolutions. Our invasion was justified on those grounds alone. But for anyone who still doubts the legitimacy of our effort, just look at the faces of jubilant Iraqis in Mosul. Baghdad, Detroit, and Sydney.

One Iraqi voter said in broken English, “Iraqi people make Iraqi future.” The Iraqi people decide their future, not Iraqi terrorists. The Iraqi people decide their form of government, not Syrian or Iranian subversives. The Iraqi people will write their constitution, not U.N. observers, or U.S. troops.

When one Iraqi voter was asked about the terrorists, he said simply, “They lose.” Yes, the terrorists lose. The people of Iraq win, and so do the rest of us. Why? Because the Iraqi people gave terrorists the finger – the blue ink-stained finger of freedom."

In My Humble Opinion: Giving Terrorists The Finger
