I have just listened to the replay(my first hearing of the speech)..I had unfortunately heard RReaganJr cynically talk about the Norwood/Iraqi moment with Chris Matthews....
You cannot stage the hug and emotion between the Iraqi woman and Mrs. Norwood..Yes, you can place people in close proximity, but one cannot fake that moment. Ron jr is simply there for his name..His commentary is disgraceful
I was very proud of the President's speech tonight..I hated not to share it here on FR...I've been catching up on the commentary here.. I take it I can skip dem response without missing a thing!
It was a very moving moment, which most of us who were privileged to witnss it, will recall until our final exit from this mortal coil.

I flipped over to MSNBC and saw Ronnie Jr being an a**. Basically standing against everything his father fought for.
Seeing little Ronnie always makes me wonder how Ms. Reagan is doing. Made me wonder why BahBah Wahters hasn't done a followup. Altho, Mrs. Reagan may not want to.......?
Forget Bahbah......think Laura Bush.
Laura Bush should do an interview (or chat) with Mrs. Reagan........a return visit to the White House....two first ladies talking...about their husbands.
Would be awesome.
