But don't forget Joe sold his soul when he ran as AlGore's veep. He really abandoned all of his principles then. Yes, if we had to have a RAT, he would be the best of a bad bunch. But I'd never really trust him again.
You know, I think Lieberman learned his lesson from the embarrassment of the Gore recount fiasco. I wouldn't doubt if he doesn't change parties in the next four years... He was the most gracious and honest of all the Libs in his response (applause and ovatins) to W's speech.
