I'm late to this thread, and I know it's probably already been discussed, but I was watching and thinking about the line of succession to the Presidency.
It's Cheney; Hastert; Stevens; Rice...I know Cheney, Hastert and Rice are there, was wondering if Stevens was present.
Isn't it customary for one of those in the line of succession not to attend.
I think one Cabinet member always stays away.

And throw in the lesser cabinet members (don't know where exactly Homeland Security fits in; I think they moved it up in the pecking order). Dunno who's sitting this one out.
