Juan is smart ? If you're smart you don't lie through your teeth and believe it. Either that or he is as dumbs as he sounds. Neither conclusion is the definition of smart, I'd love to go one on one with Juan in a conversation about his ideology and mine. He'd be talking to himself for a week after we were done.

I remember the Serbians pinning targets on themselves when bubba threatened to bomb them.
He dropped cluster bombs on civilians, bombed the water supply, bombed the Danube so no supplies could be sent to any countries along the river.
But that was a good war, wasn't it?

On Fox, Brit and Wallace were just talking about the how the President said earlier today that
he intends to set the agenda for the next four years.
Both agreed that tonight he certainly did!

I'm still waiting for the exit strategy to get us out of Germany, South Korea, Japan, Bosnia, Kosovo, etc.

Yes, there were a lot of sour-pusses on the Rat side wasn't there?
I can't believe how negative most were on his social security comments. Jeez, democrats like Moynahan have made the same comments in years past. I guess they just want to try make political hay out of it.
They will fail. Social In-security is no longer the third rail.

Isn't it time for the Dims to give us a timeline for getting our troops out of KOSOVO?!... As far as I recall, that would have been Christmas ... 1996!

Deeply saddened, soddened, disturbed, and depressed (then again, what's new?)
Note to self -- buy stock in the pharmaceuticals tomorrow.

I think you may be wrong about Matthews. MAY, I said.
He appeared to be profoundly impacted by Sunday's election in Iraq. You could almost see the conflict in his heart....he was struggling against admitting to himself that he'd been wrong. Maybe it had something to do with his visit a few days before to Camp Pendleton and then the elections following right on that.
But I've detected a change. He's challenging the Dems more on their "exit strategy" strategy. He doesn't seem to be buying into it.
Anyway, I just have this little feeling that Chris is struggling to maintain his anti-war stand.

"Ron Reagan. Blech." There is NOTHING I find MORE offensive than the son of a former president calling the current Mr. Bush.
One would think that Ron would have a little more respect fo the office. Come on, Ron. Call him President Bush. Show a little bit of class.
To: longtermmemmory
Ronnie is trying to say the painful dog tag scene was a political prop.
Wasn't this guy screaming for stem-cell research on top of Reagan's coffin during the election; that his side lost.
To: cyborg
For anyone curious, I clocked the speech in at 53 minutes and 18 seconds long.
