That cartoon was made especially for Peggy. Noonan must be going through withdrawals tonight, that was another great speech that will go down in history.

Mullahs days are numbered, no need to use JDAMs and make trouble for the Iranian people.

Good. It's time they had a new poll.

Jim, perhaps you should have a 2008 Republican Nominee poll. It would be interesting to see who is the early favorite among the Conservative base.

Wouldn't it be nice to see the details of the Bush temporary guest worker program before folks lash out?...

We just don't have much patience for members of the Church of GoPatGo tonight. And nothing Bush does will ever satisfy that guy anyways.

Without a willing MSM the rats would be even deader than they are.

Yes, I know and not agreeing with him doesn't make someone an "unconservative" either. Still the point is tonight I give the man a 99 out of 100.

Iran is the best choice simply because the people there already want to overthrow their government themselves.

Something like Israel bombing their nuke facilities could crack the mullahs and they'll be taken out by their own people; the same young people they used to get power in the late 1970's.

They'll have elections so fast it will make the Dems commit suicide. And that will make Syrians sick of Ba'athist rule all the more anxious to get rid of them. They too like to own businesses and raise families.

"DO NOT BE FOOLED BY HIM!"

Amen, Howlin. PissyChrissy flies with the wind...I remember him bashing the Toon about the impeachment one night and then screaming at the Pubbies the next night.

Oh, Great...here's another brilliant mind...Ron Reagan. Blech.

Krauthammer just made the same point.

Well, that makes my day. I can't think of any analyst I'd rather be aligned with. I'm taping Fox...will go back and find it.

The more I think about this speech, I'm just awestruck. It was nothing like the magnificence of his speech right after 9/11. This was practical and programmatic. It's the BOLDNESS of this speech that just jumps out at you.

Bravo to the speech writers. And thanks be to God for sending us such a man for such a time.

Oh, geez. Little Ronnie Reagan just said "the speech was well read". Whatta bunch of lemon suckers they are.

McCaffrey praised the election in Iraq as well.

Guess he still has friend in the military and knows that it would be critical of them to denigrate the election.
