The Dems are refusing to listen to reality.
The President is powerful on SS. He's starting the argument from a strong position.

Outlining how Social Security is going into debt starting in 2018. DemonRATs booing. IIRC, Dems were also banging the drum that SS was going broke until these past few months. What changed was workable solutions are now being given and not by the Dems.

"I thought I was in the English Parliament for a moment with that murmur..."
So did I. I thought of Parliament immediately when I heard the voices.

The "Bush is for amnesty crowd" will misread what he said.hat's their job. They're a cargo cult waiting for the Tancredo Reform-Party Presidency.

Good, the Democrat are looking and sounding like the total bratty nuisance children that they are.

I bet Hillary is wondering if GW would like to go for a stroll in a park with her about now.

My wife thinks that Socha Security may be a rope-a-dope. Maybe GW is pulling a Clinton, an bombing the aspirin factory by bring up SS to take some of the heat off Iraq. Interesting. The big diversion, could it be? I don't think he plays that way though.

It must change. President Bush is absoulutley correct. Also what happened 5-6 years ago when the dems were complaining about ss going broke. Now they say its not?

I always said - wait until his SECOND term- he is going to take the gloves off and fix as much as he can in those 4 years- now they are here and I think he is a man on a mission.

Military must be impartial in areas of politics. They is why we have a republic and not a military junta ruling us.
