UPDATE: CNN has sent out an email to several bloggers, including us, that says:
Many blogs have taken Mr. Jordans remarks out of context. Eason Jordan does not believe the U.S. military is trying to kill journalists. Mr. Jordan simply pointed out the facts: While the majority of journalists killed in Iraq have been slain at the hands of insurgents, the Pentagon has also noted that the U.S. military on occasion has killed people who turned out to be journalists. The Pentagon has apologized for those actions.Mr. Jordan was responding to an assertion by Cong. Frank that all 63 journalist victims had been the result of "collateral damage."
Ah, yes, CNN. If you get caught in a malicious, anti-American, anti-Military LIE, is the best solution to top it off with an even BIGGER LIE!
Don't you get it, CNN? When assertions are repeated and repeated, they can't be taken out of context. Repeated assertions ARE context. You do know this, don't you?
I have this little feeling that the mendacious "out-of-context" claim might even get a life (or should I say "context") of its own.
.
Yea, CNN is p!ssed for they are concerned that bloggers may take their crown from them.
Don't worry CNN, it won't happen.
The truth hurts when it's finally conveyed by the "serfs" doesn't it CNN?
