Anyone, including Democrats, who saw Reid's performance on Monday along with Nancy Pelosi must have been embarrassed that we even have such leadership in the U.S. Congress. The real reason the Senate won't filibuster is that they know they have less than a snowball's chance in hell that they can pull it off.
I called Reid's office and told the woman I was embarrassed to have him as my senator.
I wish you were right - but some lib friend believe that they need to do anything short of violence to 'stop' Bush. :-(
