I'm sending this to my pro-life friends in New York State; one friend even has a blog with Terri info.
My friends are busy with jobs, fighting abortion, et al, so I don't want to ask them to do too much. So please tell me if I send them the following, is it the best thing to do??, and if I need my message edited, please let me know.
Also, do you think it is good to call the DEC, and if so, does anyone have their phone # handy?
Anyway, here's my message to my friends:
A call to action is to ask FL politicians to vote/support HB 701 ("withholding or withdrawal of nutrition or hydration from incompetent persons") and add that they should help Terri live (so they will make it retroactive for Terri Shiavo). Some reps have said that they won't make it retroactive for Terri.
We can all call, but if someone has friends in Florida, ask them to call these numbers, plus their individual Senate and House reps.
