Comments from Cheryl Ford RN: How could anyone with a conscience allow a family to plead for their daughter in this manner and deny them the right to care for her? How many loving parents would not know what their child's true "wishes" were? This certainly isn't about the "promises" Michael made to Terri. If this was about his "promises" to Terri, he would have kept to the fidelity promises he made to Terri on their wedding day, instead of nine years ago taking up residency with another woman and creating a family with her. Again I ask, who is George Felos and Michael Schiavo trying to convince with their ridiculous statements about "promises" and "wishes"? Surely not us!

http://www.lifenews.com/bio663.html Clearwater, FL (LifeNews.com) -- While their attorneys were inside a courtroom on Friday continuing the decade-long legal battle to save Terri Schiavo's life, her parents were outside renewing their plea with her estranged husband Michael not to starve her to death.
Bob and Mary Schindler increased the pressure they're placing on Michael to give up the fight and let them care for their daughter.
They offered to allow Michael to keep any proceeds from her estate, including any money leftover from a $1.5 million medical judgment Terri won before the legal fight began.
The Schindlers also said they would allow Michael to engage in any book or movie deals that arise when the legal battle has concluded.
"He can go his way, and we'll go our way," Bob Schindler said. "The case will be over."
But Michael's lead attorney, euthanasia advocate George Felos, said no.
"[Michael] has been in this case from the beginning because he made a promise to his wife" that he wouldn't try to keep her alive in such a disabled state, Felos told the Associated Press.
Bob Schindler called Felos' statement "poppycock" and pointed to Michael's relationship with his live-in girlfriend, Jodi Centonze, with whom he has had two children.
"He's breaking his wedding vows by living with another woman," Schindler said.
Earlier last week, Schindler attorney David Gibbs asked Michael to grant Terri a divorce so the Schindlers can provide Terri with the medical and rehabilitative care she has been denied for several years.
Gibbs said he wanted Michael to "please, please, please let them keep their daughter and just walk away."
"Terri is not a piece of property that one person can give over to another," Felos responded.
