"Today, the 2nd District Court of Appeal denied the Schindlers' motions for rehearing, rehearing en banc, certification to the Florida Supreme Court, and clarification, as well as their request for a written opinion in the "papal issue" appeal."

Where did the information about the 2nd DCA's decision come from? Their denial is not posted on their website.

The 2nd DCA posts information about issued written opinions and per curiam affirmances on their website (usually mid-morning on Wednesdays and Fridays). However, more routine actions, such as the court's granting or denial of motions, aren't "announced." That information is posted to the individual case dockets, which are searchable and accessible online here: Florida DCA Docket Search. This particular docket case number is 2D-04-4755. Just enter the case number and click on "submit."
