Ah...but Jesus is in the human rights business. ;-D All Glory to Him. Jesus isn't religious, either...the religionists of his day killed him. He is who he is...and he's not a religion. He IS God, though! And he came through!
Oh most definately, Jesus is in the Human Rights business. For Christians, and I can't speak for other religions, it is, what is # is it (?) Thou shalt not kill. Easy, slam dunk.
But others who are not Christians have the same vested interest Christians do but based on Human Rights basis. I see the fight for Terri not to be murdered as both a religious struggle and a secular (is that the right word or is in non secular I always mix that up, I know secular means "of the collar" meaning a pastor's collar)struggle. Basic Human rights superseeds diversity of religion which can divide people, and joins all peoples into this struggle.
