Many years back...in a galaxy far far away.. the NIT was played at the same time as the NCAA basketball tourney, and actually had more importance. Canisus got a bid, and they won the thing..Tim O'Meara had the tourey of his life..singlehandedlybeat a bunch of ranked teams...marvelous performance..
