I agree, but I don't think our political leadership is ready to take that step, even limiting the characterization to Muslim fundamentalists. I can understand that. But we need to drive a wedge between the "moderates" and fundamentalists. At the very least, the moderates need our moral support in order to take on the beheaders.

I contend there is no such thing as "moderates". There are only those who do the beheadings and those who secretly admire and honor them.
