This one is certainly another new one for me, a "fag stag." I guess I've been living under a rock but I'll stay there if it means wasting grey matter on things like this but it does pay to be informed. Glad I don't have any children to worry about in this day and age or I'd be a basket case.

Searching Google for fauxmosexual I found an entry for it and more terms including "fag hag" giving credit to shows like Will & Grace for popularizing the term at this site:

Fag stags are a growing breed. Perhaps it has something to do with the proliferation of gay-saturated television series such as Will & Grace and Queer As Folk, but many heterosexual men no longer feel the need to keep their gay friends in the closet for fear of others getting the wrong impression.

I got petitions to get that gross show off the air, well it's still there, and in the family hour too. We don't watch NBC anymore, at all!!

The verbal sexual content on that show is horrid. The innuendo, and physical stuff, is way over the top.
