I agree so why are we stuck with Box of rocks for six more frigging years? Why was there silence in the state when it came to the election of the Presidency and the Senate? The only word we heard from our "Muscle" leader was the billion dollar stem cell package. The only state, our "Muscle" leader could campaign was Ohio???? The only way we can stop the damage that is being done to this state is to first take our party back. Until this is done, there is no hope for this state and we will continue down hill even with Arnold.
I thought I heard everything till they started floating the idea of changing the constitution so AR NO can run for the Presidency. AR NO was quoted as saying the Republican Party needs to move more left. Excuse me but did we or did we not win the election including additional senate seats with the exception of California - no thanks to AR NO. I know the Kennedys want back into the white house but sorry Maria and Teddy it is not going to work but AR No is not the way.
Don't misunderstand, I love California. It is a beautiful state and I am very proud to say this is my home but we must take our party back if we ever want to turn this state around.

Beating a lib in CA takes about a 20 million war chest, just to start. The presidential election and the RNC siphoned off too much capital and gave nothing in return. The RNC won't invest in CA because they think it is too expensive and the money could be better spent in smaller states and districts where the money could go much farther.
This might be strategically smart in the short term but devastating in the long. The fact is CA gets screwed by the national party, sucking off money and giving little in return.
Without $$, a candidate is at the mercy of the media here...'nuff said on why we lose.

agreed and part of the problem here also is that people in Calif don't get involved in politcs nearly as much than many other states and hence just vote party lines....I have many Dem friends who are not any more activist than the man in the moon but they go with the flow.....part of it is demographics too....libs just flock to the coast.....I don't hate Arnold nearly as much as you do and I wanted him to fix the state first fiscally and didnt' give a damn at the time for his social views......He has also done some good things, didn't cave in to illegal drivers licenses, trying to overhaul the workers comp etc......I don't trust many politicians to begin with so I thought at the time he would be the best choice and could win even though I am more of a McClintock man
