Why did the MSM misjudge the Iraqi people? They're atheists or agnostics. They fear death, which is to be avoided at all costs. They will sacrifice any cause or principle to escape death, and can't imagine people acting otherwise.

The MSM didn't misjudge. They were hoping that it would not be a good turnout. Better the people should live in tyranny than President Bush to have been deemed correct.
