I have fond mems of the first Gulf War,,those daily briefings from Norman S. When they went off, I had withdrawal.

And that was pre-Fox days. Reading people talk about the Berlin Wall falling... can you imagine if we would have had a resource like Fox then?

My son watched those briefings during the first Gulf War when he was about 7 years old.

He was 19 when he served in this one......

Remember those news conferences too--and how well Schwartzkopf handled the lame reporters. Felt the same way you did, even tho I was very grateful the war was so short!
