Fox is supposed to have live coverage all night---boy, I remember watching Fox all night when the war started---it was really fascinating to watch it on live TV.
BTW, I very briefly stopped at CNN a while ago and Capitol Gang was on. Mark Sheilds wasn't there but the white haired guy (not Robt. Novak) was saying that on the very day that 31 marines died in a helicopter crash, Bush decided to come out a crow about how good things are going in Iraq. Not once did anyone point out that is was either weather or mechanical and could have happened here.
I did get angry this afternoon when Dana Lewis of Fox got on and said that a lot of the Iraqis in Baghdad were gonna wait until the afternoon to vote, so they could see if there were a lot of terror attacks or sniping. Did it ever occur to him, that getting on TV and announcing this stategy was also telling the terrorists to wait until afternoon? Geeesh
What's sad is if that helicopter had crashed here in the U.S. CNN wouldn't have given a damn.
Those early days of the war were so hard... to get to work the next day.
