Well, what beyond science is truth for you? Can natural occurrences alone account for everything? Can natural occurrences explain how planes fly?
At one time man thought not. Then we learned those principles. That is science. To take us in the direction of knowledge, not to shut us off to "God did it". If we took that attitude, you would not be posting tonight. More than likely your genetic train would have been broken long ago and you would not exist.

Human consciousness is a subset of the superset that is god consciousness. The two are interconnected. God "connects" to certain individuals throughout history to help advance humankind. As an example, prophets and inventors are similar in that they both receive new "thoughts/ideas/inklings" about things that may then, depending on how they are used, help humankind. The universe is benevolent, stable, ordered and expansive, even if the minds of many people may at some times be the opposite.

Darwinists and others of their ilk have real trouble explaining human consciousness. Reductionist, materialist arguments cannot adequately explain the richness and potential of human consciousness.
