Good Morning. What a great day. Just have to post a pic here at the Finest of Iraqi women waiting on line to vote.

It IS a great day! We are witness to something so monumental I can't even describe it. Gosh, there've been such *awesome* photos posted since yesterday! Thanks for posting one of them here!

"I *am* wondering about the expressions on Amy's and Lori's faces."

LOL

I'm not sure but I think we were wondering if there was anything there that any of us would eat. :)

I'm not crazy about fish but I took some salmon and Marissa loved it. The chicken was stuffed with goat cheese ... was not sure what to expect but it was very good. I was pleasantly surprised.

You don't like fish either?! The only way I will eat salmon is when *I* make salmon croquettes - with red sockeye salmon - not pink salmon. And I want them crispy outside with ketchup on top. (I'm not a ketchup lover either! It's only good on meatloaf and salmon croquettes - and SOMETIMES french fries!) LOL

I would have opted for the chicken and probably gotten rid of the goat cheese! :)

LOL

You would have been looking at Lori's plate with the same expression as Lori and I were wearing. Marissa just said "feed me!"

I admit, I *am* wondering about the expressions on Amy's and Lori's faces. :)

Well, I can tell you what's behind my expression - I am looking askance at my salmon and chicken stuffed with goat cheese, neither of which are high on my list of favorites. But, the garlic potatoes were marvelous, and basically what I ended up having for dinner that night. LOL

LOL! You two! Regional differences in cuisine, I guess. Bet they don't even know what good Mexican food is! :)

Actually, we did get some fairly good Mexican food (fajitas) in DC (actually in Chrystal City). Not as good as California's or Texas' Mexican food....but not half bad. Not anywhere near as bad as the stuff they claimed was Mexican food in Kansas City. LOL. No resemblance at all. I didn't try their Margaritas though. I just know they would not have been like what I am used to.

I am easy to please, as long as it is food that I like. ;-)

Mama Bear

I did some hound dog work and finally found you" "Lori"...now I see your email. LOL!

My daughter and I want to do something special with a slide show maybe add music. Thanks so much.

For some insatiable reason, although I ended up with the flu after D.C., I can't keep away from this forum.

Now dinner time is here and the gang will be home soon; tired and hungry. My bad day cooking sometimes gets the same reaction as this photo.

Thanks again gracious lady.
