This topic by Rush motivated me to review some WWII history. Given the current situation it was enlightening to look at a timeline of WWII to appreciate the uncertainty and ebb-and-flow of defeat and success. It's good to read the whole thing straight through. Just amazing to see the incredibly rapid pace of huge geopolitical and military events, not to mention the sheer barbarism that spurred American to action.
