My brother was 16 and refused to wake up and get ready for school back in 1970. Day after day it was a fight. One day my father told my brother he was going to use a cattle prod on him the very next morning if he did not get up when the rest of the family did. He told my did he would short out the silly cattle prod. Well he did not short it out but he did jump out of bed and never was a problem again.

Forgot to add that my brother has had two careers one as a police officer than as an Attorney.
