Visited the Alamo for the first time last year.

Chillbumps when I entered....a sense of history profound.

The Alamo is the most solemn and sober place I have ever been. I was amazed at the prevailing sense of respect and decorum.

You too? I made my first trip to the Alamo last October. Also went to the LBJ library in stinking leftist Austin and the great George Bush library in College Station.
