Can you provide a source for that verifiable history? If I wanted to find the historical Jesus, and I do, where would I look?
He performed miracles in front of multitudes. Surely someone mentioned him somewhere. Can you direct me to that?
Can you give me the date of his birth?
How about the date of his death?
What was his name? I mean his name in the local lingo of those times. The name I could search for in ancient texts. The name that Yuza down at the Olde Incense Shoppe would have called him.
Can you provide a verifiable source for any of that information?

They were written by his disciples after Jesus's death, but while there were still many people in the early church who had followed Jesus and who would have been able to dispute the writings if they didn't match what they had seen and observed.
But you can also look to secular writings.
