Can you cite one fact that would indicate to a sane reasonable person that the man is more likely than not to be in this country illegally?
1. The majority of people with Hispanic names are not immigrants.
2. The majority of immigrants are not illegal.
3. The majority of mass murders are not Hispanic, not immigrants, nor illegal.
4. The press does not normally mention immigration status, religious affiliation, marital status, military status, etc... unless it is newsworthy or relevant. The fact that the press has not said anything about military service would not indicate that he is in the military would it?
My guess --- he's from the recent immigrant batch ---- from that massive flood in the 1980's or more recently --- very likely an anchor baby born to get his mother the right to stay and a welfare check.
I actually know a lot of the traditional SW-American hispanic families (not from Mexico) and they are in general more law-abiding than most other groups. Why would I suspect someone is from a group that has low crime rates versus one that has very high crime rates?
