"FAZ it is conservative and simply better. "

I appreciate your advice.

It is very nice to see several German posters here on FR, to give a realistic view. We cannot rely upon the pre-conceived notions about Germany, as I know there are many right-thinking people in Germany -- but many here would not know that except for you posters. How did you learn about FR? I know there was an article in Der Spiegel last year about FR, because we "FReeped" a Spiegel poll.

Please weigh in often with your views, as otherwise too many FReepers will believe the anti-German news they hear.

Tschuss

I am intersted in politics and i have to keep my english but also frensh language alive. So i visit foreign internet pages when i got the time to do that to inform myself.
I searched a conservative US page simply to get an better picture what is going on and try to understand the differences. Well i am a moderate conservative in my country in terms of the US i am not quite sure. On economic issues i am conservative ( in Gemany it whould more or less call liberal refering to the FDP who has a strong economic agenda). On other issues i whould think i am more on the site of the democrats but such things can not be compared because different countries, different histories and different culture.
The bashing on both sites of the atlantic is sad but it will not go on forever. In the end we life in a globalized and networked world we are too much dependend on each other to go on with theses chilish behaviour.
