Now that I think about it you're right. Why do we pronounce his name Tark-ING-ton when it's spelled Tarkenton? Then again there's the whole Brett Favre pronunciation issue as well. I heard Bradshaw in an interview say they were more happy about beating Oakland in the AFC title game than winning the Super Bowl that year. Was Minnesota favored going into that game?
