Yes. I see this as well. The Eagles will choke. Especially if they get behind early and the Philly fans abandon them. My guess is mid-way through the first quarter.

ESPN began their 11AM countdown show showing the steam/heat rising from the field, mega cool..kind of like a battle scene out of 'Braveheart.'

I'm with ya, FRiend! I've got to head out to dig the car out myself. We got the one snow plow yesterday around 4, and that will likely be it for this "Sam Katz leaning division". John Street has a plan for the snow removal, you know, it's called "August".
Having lost the three in a row, I'm throwing caution to the wind. I went out Friday and bought champagne (domestic of course) and some Martinellis for the kids. I've got a victory cigar picked out and will probably fish-tail around the neighborhood in the Eagles Green Ford, doing the horn and singing the fight song off key.
I can't really get my head around what it will be like to lose again.
Let's take comfort in this: Worst case scenario, the Falcons are up by 21 at half time, the game continues to deteriorate, Mac takes a blind side hit and is carried off the field in a stretcher, and the fans have a total melt down and respond with a barrage of snowballs that would put the Giants fans to shame, giving the haters fresh amunition for the next 20 years.
Well, it couldn't be THAT bad, so just incase, I'll take solace in that (an Eagles fan's survival kit).
I have a quiet confidence going into the game, but getting this monkey off our backs will be every bit as good as going to the Super Bowl.

Would that be Bill Belli-choke? ESPN calling him the greatset coach ever with a career mark just over .500 is a bit premature isn't it?

As much as I love the Steelers, Big Ben was not as his best last week which makes me very nervous.. off the with the gloves !

This should be an interesting day, with the fields littered with dozens of frozen asses that have fallen off.

John Kincade does have a how on 680AM The Fan. Its called the Buck and Kincade show. He is Philly transplant since 1994. However, he is always talking about his beloved Eagles.
Oh believe me he gets called out all the time. Heck the show has a dedication where callers can just call in and chew him out. While Kincade just has to sit there and take it. Its called G.A.K.(pronounced as gag). GAK stands for get at Kincade. Its pretty funny. Most people say something, and follow up with a "go home Yankee". It is pretty funny.
As much as Kincade fires me up. He does have some valid points, and he makes me think about things.

"What about the Kerry-New England connection? Winners?"Granted, New England, and Massachusetts in particular, has much to be ashamed of with respect to its politicians, but that is only a regional issue. A stadium name is a lot closer to home. Heinz = loser. It's as simple as that.

I understand that the halftime show will have 2 scientists from NOAA explaining that global warming tends to be cyclacle. HA!

My stomach is in knots, cant Ben wear heating pads on his hands during the sideline breaks and ditch the gloves?

True, but her Heinz-ness wasn't running. Besides, how funny and insulting is it to sKerry that his wife still uses the name of her dead republican husband? She only added the "Kerry" to it just before he announced his intentions to run for POTUS.
Name connection only, she sold her stock in the H.J. Heinz company a while ago. She no longer has affiliation to the company which the stadium is named for. She's just as connected to Steve Heinz of the Vancouver Canucks.

The Field has heaters. I think the cold is going to effect the Eagles passing game, and give the Falcons the favor on the rushing game. The Eagles do not have their top Wide Receiver. The Falcons are number 1 in rushing. Atlanta has a three headed monster between Warrick Dunn, TJ Duckett, and Michael Vick.Hey, no facts or logic allowed here.
Off to the torture chamber with you :)
