"Would you guys like me to get my husband to post a picture of the '79 blizzard?"
===

Tee, hee! I'd like to see it, LOL!

nopardons, I'm just joshing you. Have you ever heard of, or do you remember, what was called the 'halloween blizzard' that hit MN about 15 years ago? We had more than 40 inches in 2 days.

Here's a photo from the 1940 deadly Armistice day archive. Now that's some snow. Worse than what's in MY memory.

I surely don't mean to negate folks who are experiencing snow problems, one bit. But, some folks deal with it more often.

Stay warm and safe, everyone!

Sorry,I never heard of the Mn. Halloween blizzard 15 years ago.

WOW...that's some picture,but it isn't nearly as bad as the blizzard that hit New York City in 1888 and my great grandmother lived through that one.The drifts were 15 feet high.

Not to be too picky,but a few years ago Conn. got close to 200 inches that winter.Some of us have to deal with far more snow,on a regular basis,than you seem to know.Forty inches in 2 days? We're supposed to get 30+ in TWENTY FOUR HOURS. :-p
