I was college prep--two years of German. I had Mr. Heepe for IP freshman year, Riley for wood shop (do you still have your step V block) and Miss Frayne for English--and oh yeah--Gorman for history, I think). I was a member of the Longfellows and editorial page editor of The Survey.
I went back for my 25th reunion in '88 and loved it. The cheerleaders (our own!) welcomed us at the door and they were adorable. Your 35th is coming up, eh?

"step V block" now that's a term I'd forgotten. Remember having to plane a chamfer on it so it could be extracted from the mould in foundry? All the other FReepers are going "what are they talking about?". Tech sure gave you a well rounded basic engineering background in the first two years. IP (Industrial Processes), metal shop, drafting, freehand drawing, etc... great background, I still use some of those skills.
Sadly like most of the students from '69-'73 or so I don't do reunions. If you go to places like classmates, there are very few people from '70 signed up. We started our freshman year with the teachers strike, and it went downhill from there.
