Hi Sam...yes, it will be a very, very COLD game tomorrow night in the 'Burgh. Local newsies are covering this storm continually and how, of course, it will affect THE GAME. So far I have seen reports of when and how the parking lots (on the North Shore) will be plowed, where the snow will be trucked to, how early the lots will open (5 hours prior to game time, and don't show up one minute earlier!), how the grounds crews at Heinz Field will keep up with their snow removal, how PennDOT will clean and clear the roads, etc. As to snow in the seats...I would guess they would attempt to clear the stands as well (monumental job there).
Well, I am off to get provisions (have a Ford Explorer) for PaFamily here...nacho chips, must find nacho chips...
Just wanted to add...it started snowing around 4 to 5 a.m. here. We had freezing rain, drizzle around 9 a.m. Heavier burst of snow, right now, just a light flurry...and surprise(!) my township salt truck has already been thru my neighborhood at least once. Looks like about 4 or five inches right now. Fortunately, we still have power, and all my kids activities for today (religionous education, basketball games) have been cancelled!!! I love a big snow!!!
