I guess I was rueing the attendant "hype" that is going to consume the News Outlets today. If it happens in New York, it's the biggest thing in the world! Because that's where the important people live (in their world view). Yeah, I know the challenges with clearing New York with all it's street parking, and I obviously hope everyone stays safe. We received 10" in suburban Mpls yesterday, and the main thoroughfares are pretty well clean already.

Heck, Mayor Lindsey got turned out of office because the streets in Queens didn't get cleared after a big blizzard. I was a little kid staying at my Grandma's in Queens, and even though it didn't bother us at all you could just FEEL the anger in the air.
A few years ago, in Bayonne, NJ my little side street didn't get plowed for three (3!!!) days. The snow was up to my hips, no kidding!
