I understand that there are teams of Huskies headed your way with a load of hot chocolate and distilled spirits. Help is on the way!

Robin went to the store here in New Hampshire this morning (to buy a chicken and some burger).

The checkout lines were backed up down the aisles.

OH GOD! IT'S GOING TO SNOW! BETTER GET A MONTH'S SUPPLY OF FOOD!

I like to shop in the middle of the storm. The stores are empty. My local Chinese buffet will have tons of food, just for me!

The hyping up of snow storms is one of the many reasons why I hate the local news.

$50 for a clip of the first person in an on-air capacity that uses the phrases "more frigid than a NOW convention" on air.

I am jealous. Enjoy the nice dumping.

As for me, it is nice to have a warm up out here and nice to see all the sleet melt off after 3 weeks.

It is hard to count how many times I fell down around campus.

We went out this morning, not before the snowfall started. Very slippery in the car, but not too bad underfoot. It is 5 pm here in Jersey now, and it hasn't stopped a bit all day.

But you are right, it is a great day for it. We've got nowhere to go and nothing to do. Just a good weekend to hang out here on the threads and enjoy the weather.

It's really cold here--I was just outside, 66 degrees. I had to bundle up to brave the cold. Brrrrrrrrr...

I went to Walmart to pick up my blizzard survival rations and couldn't believe how crowded it got so early and how frantic and pushy the shoppers were.

Guess everyone remembers the blizzard of Feb 1996 when we got 3 feet of snow here in the Philly area.

About 1960 the Hudson River froze over and it snowed 24 inches overnight. Everybody stayed home. Why does everybody have to attempt to carry on as if it is summer these days?

I drove from Goshen, CT to Queens, NY this afternoon. (I went via RT4 to RT 8, then 84/684 to I 95)

The roads stunk, but were drivable if you used your brains and took you time.

Unfortunately, there were a lot of folks that need to park their buggy when the bad weather hits--a lot of accidents- espcially on I-95.
