What an idiotic term in this case. It's called "disagreement" and we've a right to voice it, just as she has her right to speak. Good grief..."marginalizing"....LOL!

Read some of these "disagreement" posts. They don't say "Peggy tried, but she just got this one wrong". Instead they imply that she is a jealous, pretentious bitch that is angry that she wasn't chosen to write the inauguration speech or Reagan's "Tear down this wall" speech.

The woman wrote something that a lot of people here disagree with. Why do they have to make such wild and crazy sounding accusations. People here disagree with the president's policy on immigration everyday, but that doesn't mean that they're just jealous that they're not making policy.

I stand by my statements. Peggy Noonan made a big deal about leaving her column in the last 8 weeks of the campaign. I never heard of one thing she actually did. Did she do any writing at all? Man phone banks? Travel and campaign? She just disappeared.

Now, a very strange about-face within 12 hours on a very important speech.

Furthermore, her complaint is really not about the speech writing style, but the substance of the speech.

I find her off base totally in her criticism, and it is not out of bounds to question her motivation, particularly when she has behaved so oddly.
