At least you have a car. I can't afford one yet. But that may happen soon too, I think. Probably a few more months. It'll be a used car but I'll finally have one.

Some things come in time
I am 57. Have worked over 35 years. I am my sole support
and have never been able to afford a car. My only transportation
are my forearm crutches and busses. That is how I have gone to work each day. To the hospital for my many surgeries. my shopping, etc.
I live in the second largest city in California..San Diego
which is crowded, busy, etc. I retired early a yr ago due
to my health. Last 14 yrs a legal support assistant with
the county attys. When you have to pay rent, that comes
first. I say this as a friend.
