President Bush was inaugurated for his second term as President of the United States. Nuff said. Enjoy your special inauguration day edition of the daily dose!
Wow! Something powerful about that one. Thanks!
you know...how you look at something or someone and you are thinking something but it passes as quick as it came into your head? Well, now that you mentioned it...that's what I saw with Dick Cheney. He DID look vibrant and healthy. His skin was clear as a bell and crisp and he went from morning till night as did Lynne and the Bushs and they all looked like they just stepped out of the groomers.
I think they were all energized by their reelection and are ready to tackle the issues at hand. Well, they are all good people with good hearts and so it shows on their faces but for Dick Cheney inparticular given his past health problems it's especially nice to see.
Thanks so much for giving me that laugh--GWB stepping all over the lady's shoes! sKerry is perhaps a better dancer, but who cares? He wouldn't turn Laura on as obviously her W does.
Your photo in #126 gave me chills. Thanks for the picture- what a GREAT COUNTRY and a GREAT PRESIDENT!
VIVA BUSH!!!!!!
It makes a beautiful background for the First Couple's dancing.
Prayer service at the National Cathedral on C-SPAN NOW!!
I am watching it! Wonderful so far!!! I am sad to see Graham look so old, but I guess at 86 there is nothing you can do.
But his words are still the same.
And you're right. This is a WONDERFUL service!
(Loved seeing the President reach for his glasses when they started singing the SECOND verse to the "Star Spangled Banner." LOL!
Hahaha I noticed that too!! Everybodies head went down to their books to look at the words.
Yea, I forgot he had been sick. I felt bad seeing him with a walker. Everytime I see him he looks worse.
Yes, his words are always the same, bless his heart.
She is so gracious and lovely. I watched Biography last night and they had two hours on the prez and his beauty. It was great! I'm so glad she's our first lady again. She is the epitome of what a first LADY should be. Hillary never quite made the grade. M
Janna could use a good haircut. But they sure are lovely young ladies. My husband says they don't look enough alike to be twins! Janna has a naturally round face and Barbara is more of an oval face. That makes a difference.
I did get really good pictures, but I forgot to bring my UBS cable with the laptop. So I can't download them yet.
Maybe tomorrow when I get home (if we don't get stuck here on account of snow) I'll be able to share them!!
These are outstanding pictures. Thank you, dear rintense.
She must have seen Hillary or John! (Janna, that is.)
How many stars are going to be on that man's crown!
Yeah, uncle John does NOT look like a happy camper. Tee hee.
President Bush's inaugural speech was moving and inspiring. Imagine people who live under tyranny listening to the speech.
May God bless President Bush and may God bless America.
Looking forward to a full report with pictures, when you get a chance!
I loved how, at each ball, when the President and First Lady danced, the bands played one of the most beautiful, romantic pieces of music ever -- LAURA.
I wonder whose idea that was.
I've heard that from several jerks, err, folks on news programs. Even on Fox. Grrrr.
