it was wonderful to be able to listen to this broadcast, in spite of spotty dial-up audio. The Iraqi gentlemen were a perfect way to end this broadcast. Best wishes to them in the upcoming elections.
Raising my martini in a toast to President G.W. Bush, fellow Freepers, the incomparable Swiftees and their fellow Vietnam veterans, FR awards recipients, and most importantly our fine military. This is one of the most joyful days of my life...and my life has been blessed with many joyful days!

Thank you Betsy.
For those of you who are wondering why I am thanking Betsy - She provided me with a web address for the young lady who spoke at the Ball. You should check it out - http://www.freerepublic.com/~nikkiusa/ -

Aren't there about a hundred different inaugural balls tonight? I doubt it would be humanly possible to make it to all of them.

The Free Republic W2 Inaugural Ball was mentioned at the end of an Arkansas News Bureau
article
Thursday night, Gov. Mike Huckabee and his rock-and-roll band, Capitol Offense, headlined the Free Republic W2 Inaugural Ball. The unofficial ball was held at the Washington Plaza Hotel in honor of Bush and those serving in the armed forces.

Where are the pictures from the FReepers Ball, inquiring minds want to see them.
