I'd take him a bit more seriously on this if he did not appoint a gun-grabber to the AG post.
Well, the "gun grabber" is really having an effect, eh? Note how in the last decade we have had something like a dozen states enact concealed carry laws; and I'd say just as a civilian that it's probably easier to own a gun today than at any time in the last 20 years. AG does not concern me.
Under Bush, the AG's office and the Justice Dept. for the first time....the first time....applied the 2nd Amendment to individuals.
And yet you complain about his new nominee.
We must watch him to be sure. We do not know what he will do.
But, I prefer to look at the good that has been done and worry about the bad if it comes. I think Bush will not allow him to remove that policy.
