When kristinn calls, I'll ask about TaxRelief.
Any other specific FReepers we should check on?
TaxRelief (and family ... a group of 5 or more) is the only person I know was going up from this area. However, they may not have planned to be at Kristinn's location.
Fox reporting someone just threw a snowball at the motorcade. Meanwhile, CBS is giving extensive coverage to the anti-American protestors.
Where is the parade relative to our people?
To hear CBS tell it the whole parade route is beseiged by protestors.
The American Sector is at 7th (which is seven blocks from the Capital, almost half way to 1600 Penn, which is where the White House is).
Parade is just starting there.
Just heard that some protesters are down...something about pepper spray or something...waiting on more details.
From the DOT cam, it looked like the Pres just passed them.
you got that exactly right. My other favorite comment was Dan Rather stating that GWB has 40 years to learn whether his low approval ratings will increase.
This link is to Trafficland, which uses the DC Dept of transportation cameras, works better.

For the FReeper American Sector, click on the green dot on 7th Street, just above Const. Ave.
If video times out, just click on the dot again.
They are right in front of the protestors at this time.
Ole Document Danny can't seem to get the simplest things right.
The Pres went by there a few minutes ago. I watched it on that cam there.
Thanks for keeping us updated! Here's a live c-span link.

Doesn't Laura Bush look wonderful? (But my knees are cold just watching!)
FReep this poll. Did the President's celebration inspire you? Yes or No?

Hey Hokie! Didn't attend VT but brother did on a football scholarship. Love Blacksburg and spent a lot of fantastic weekends there when he played. Good luck!

I would guess our Freepers are now on their way to get changed and go to the ball?
"About two-thirds of the way through Bush's speech, a group of six women began to chant "Bring the troops home now." As they were taken away by security personnel, two men who said they were with the Peace Movement unfurled a home-made sign that read, "No War." The men were also led away.
The crowd was strongly supportive of the president, and jeered both groups of protesters with chants of "U.S.A. U.S.A." Members of the audience seemed to intentionally get in the way of photographers trying to take pictures of the protesters."
