Unlike those dreary and menacing past parades in Russia and China, we had no long lines of missiles on wheels and grim-faced, brown-coated, and goose-stepping troops in our parade!

How funny...that's exactly what I was thinking when I caught the tail end of the parade.....everybody was smiling and so excited to see the President...and his "thumbs up" or clapping or dancing in place was cool, too.
Is that kerry behind the mask? Surprised he didn't grab someone's medals and throw them over a fence somewhere.
Too bad the wind didn't pick up and blow the flames back on them...ah well...
Shame on their parents for not rearing their children better. I'd be so furious were any of these over-grown spoiled children mine that I'd cut them off from any support and make them earn their own way. They desperately need a wake-up call.
