LOL! Yes, people still go to work...unfortunately. Today is actually warmer than it has been. We've been as low as -70 a few days ago. We have beautiful gardens in the summer. Our school never closes either...but the students do have the option of staying home if it is colder than -50.

It's not that bad. You just need lots of layered clothes, and a couple of wood stoves. A car that starts in the morning helps as well.

Everything thaws out in the spring. Spring is late May here. lol.
