Yeah, but Dubya had a lot of experience a governor, in business, ect. Franks has been a General and lifelong military man. That's too narrow to me. I do really like Tommy, though. MAYBE for Condi's VP, at least SOD.
From reading Franks' book one can see that a top General's job is not unlike CEO of a big company; he spent time meeting his opposite numbers in other countries, building relations etc so the background isn't as narrow as it might appear. Condi has never run a campaign etc but is of great talent, I admire her enormously but IMHO one thing that may not sit well with many voters is that she's single.
