Being young gives people the excuse to be rude, offensive, nasty, and immature in public? This is acceptable public behavior? This is what we want to teach our children?

Age has nothing to do with being respectful and aware of the message one delivers. There is a difference between private conversation and public display of profanity.

You can say I am embarrassing myself all you want. I will continue to stand by my conscience, my morals, and by my previous statement.

YOu're right, but save your breath.
Click the link on #42, to see what I mean. What astounded me was the number of people at FR with no sense of propriety, and then use sophomoric arguments to justify their positions.

No, being at a rock concert gives people the excuse to remove the stick out of their butt's and enjoy themselves though. If you view it as rude, offensive.. etc. then too bad, it wasn't designed to impress you.

you said; "This is acceptable public behavior?"

At a rock concert, yes. If you don't like that sort of thing I would advise you to stay way from rock concerts, including inaugural rock concerts.

You should probably teach your children at home and at school, and make sure they learn good manners and decency BEFORE they are old enough to go to rock concerts. If they haven't learned these things by then, it is too late anyway, rock concert or no rock concert.

Whatever you do, DO NOT send your children to rock concerts to learn morals and decency! (One would think this would be obvious, but apparently not.)
