10th Commandment; Verse 17 "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's."
"Covet" is a word that is gradually going out of usage. One set of definitions of the word is:
To wish for enviously.
To desire inordinately or culpably ~ vi: to feel inordinate desire for what belongs to another. 3
Religious liberals believe that the original text included only the first seven words. That is because the word "house" by itself was assumed to include all of a man's possessions: his building, wife, male slaves, female slaves, children, animals, etc.

PJ can be so smart. That comment about the 10th Commandment was about as insiteful as anything I'll see written in the papers this month.

Thou shalt not kill." Why, in the opinion of jerks, is it wrong to kill a baby but all right to kill a baby that's so little he hasn't been born yet? And why do the same jerks who favor abortion oppose the death penalty? We can imagine people so full of loving kindness that they can accept neither the abortionist nor the executioner. We can even imagine people so cold-hearted that they embrace them both. But it takes a real jerk to argue in favor of killing perfect innocents and letting Terry Nichols live.I've been reading PJ since high school, and I believe that's the first time I've ever seen such Pro Life sentiment from him.
Very cool, PJ.

The dems apparently do not favor any of them.

God Bless P. J., he is always a breath of fresh air in the "Culture Smog" of the media.
He needs to speak-up more often.

The Tenth Commandment sends a message to all the jerks who want redistribution of wealth, higher taxes, more government programs, more government regulation, more government, less free enterprise, and less freedom. And the message is clear and concise: Go to hell.PJ shoots...and he SCORES!

We did see a lot of white, non-Hispanic Democrats in churches in 2004. But they were all running for president.
LOL!
