To the detectives on the case, the motive is as clear as a bell...it is a question of whether the evidence will stand up in court, not a matter of what the investigators think. What say you, Jan...confirm or deny?

The police and investigators, and I'm sure the FBI know a lot more then they are letting on. The police give the information to the press that they want the public to know. They will NEVER give out all of the information and usually won't let on to what they think the motive is.
With an active investigation, I would believe about to 50% of what you read or hear.
This crime was "personal". The murderous pigs might try to make it look like a robbery, but it was not. Robbers don't slit their victims throats.
No, this was personal... fear and intimidation. Silence the opposition.
