Given the sightings and rumors that have been coming out of Iran lately it isn't unlikely that the US is taking a long hard and close look inside Iran for tender areas. It wouldn't be hard to concoct a story even without a single live source that the rest of the press will grab onto and spread without wondering about the source. They tend not to fact-check Hersh.

Three theories . . .

Traitors and scumbags . . . and Hersh certainly fits in BOTH categories. As I'm sure you know as well as I do . . . a lot of the Clintonite Pentagoners and State Department hacks have swallowed the World Governmental BS of the UN and Euro-weenies and they feel they owe NO allegiance to the U.S. of A. . . . hence they will sell us out in a nano-second.

Do you have a little brother or little sister? If so, what did you say to them when you were younger when you REALLY, REALLY wanted them to either do something or not do something?

Yup, you said the exact opposite of what you really wanted done. Some of these morons actually believing singing Kum-ba-ya and holding hands with the terrorists is the way to go to make them see the errors if their ways. These kinda folks believe in the Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus, and the innate goodness of the New York Times.

Third . . .

There's a new Sheriff in town and GW's convictions aren't measured by Opinion Polls . . . unlike Pee Wee Clinton. I'm convinced that some of those who KNOW the ONLY way to tame a terrorist is to kill him . . . a theory I happen to agree with . . . uses leaks to try to goad our President into taking action quicker than he's ready to take it.

But GW plays no games . . . when his mind is made up . . . when he thinks we're ready . . . he'll attack. GW knows that foreign policy can't be dictated by public opinion.

A REAL leader takes action . . . THEN explains why he took the action in simple language EVERYONE can understand . . . THEN he continues to explain until eventually the majority of the Public starts to agree with him. BUT he's willing to ride the wave of Public Criticism because his decisions are based on principles . . . a simple philosophy that will forever bewilder the Liberals because they have no souls. They don't believe IN ANYTHING . . . hence they'll never understand those of us who do.
