This is the town next to mine. There have been mailed threats to Copts in the area. They were "convert or die" type letters. The one I saw reported included details of that persons daily routine.

This is...I don't even have words for what this is.

My question is, at what point do American's start taking this into their own hands since their government is unwilling or unable to even daresay what is going on?

Serious queston. I am not calling for such action, I just wonder if there is a point where Americans take acton against Islam.

Dhimmitude. That is what you call it. That is what you call the state of subservience Islam demands of non-moslems in moslem lands. It also describes the treatment to be expected.

I know a few Coptic Christians and they have a fairly close knit community. They will more than likely take some steps for their own security.
We all need to be prepared to do that.

Of course there is. We just haven't reached it yet. But there will come a time if the government doesn't handle it, Joe Citizen eventually will - in his own way.

"Committees of Vigilance" were set up in every Virginia county in 1775 to meet the urgent needs of the day. This became a pattern for many years in many places around America (especially the frontier) when the government just wasn't up to the task of providing lawful citizens with security and safety. They ultimately handled the job themselves in a swift and compelling manner.

Every area will know "when" is the time. How is that? The answer will be obvious and the question will no longer need to be asked, debated and agonized over. The rage of the people will take it's own head when enough have just had "enough".
